Dal Tadka

Cook lentils until soft. Heat ghee or oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and chopped garlic. Stir in onions and sauté until golden. Add tomato puree, salt, turmeric, and a pinch of Rajesh Dry Ginger for a warm, earthy flavour. Pour the tempering over the dal and simmer for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or roti.
