Dal Tadka
Cook yellow lentils until soft. Heat ghee or oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and chopped garlic, sautéing until fragrant. Add chopped onions and cook until golden. Stir in tomato puree, salt, and Rajesh Mishran Garam Masala to infuse the dal with a rich, aromatic flavour. Pour the tempering into the dal and simmer briefly. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or chapati.
